    Progressive springs my experience.

The ride and handling of the UTV springs beats the stock ones on every perch setting. You won't be disappointed at all if that is your primary goal. I haven't noticed any degradation in ride quality during the time I've had the springs on my truck. I can't comment on the other poster's...

    Progressive springs my experience.

I've had them on a month, and they have not settled at all since installation. The ride feels the same as well. I am extremely happy with how they perform and feel, but I'm starting to have some serious misgivings about the actual ride height they provide. It is no where near what UTV claims.

    Progressive springs my experience.

Mine have actually sat like that since I put them on, while it seems some others have taken longer to get to that point. In UTV's pictures, the bottom two coils touch. It appears that after these springs settle they only lift the suspension about half of what the manufacturer claims and you are...

Had some new Progressive rate Spring made

Actually, the link I posted is a direct link to my post about my impressions on the UTV springs vs mid-perch. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to read the whole thread. :specialed:

Had some new Progressive rate Spring made

I feel a bit better now. What year is your truck? As far as the front shocks, I don't think you can compress them with just your body weight. Mine were very stiff as well.

I am at 24.5" using that measurement. Interesting.

Had some new Progressive rate Spring made

I know. My issue is that after a winter of salt spray, that little screw can get jammed in there pretty good even after hitting it with some PB Blaser. Being so small, it is easy to strip if you have to put some force on it. I think the person that did my mid-perch prior may have cranked it down...

Had some new Progressive rate Spring made

I wound up just drilling out the screw. Whoever decided it was a good idea to use such a small screw for this application needs to get knocked out. With the new springs on the bottom perch setting, my truck currently sits at approximately 41.5 inches (ground to center of fender) with a full...

Had some new Progressive rate Spring made

I got about 3/4 of the way into installing these today. I am going from mid-perch with stock springs to bottom perch with the progressive springs. Unfortunately, the set screw for the spring collar stripped on the last strut. Does anyone know any easy way to get it out? I'll post up my...

How many windshield cracks can a Raptor get from a dump truck?

That really sucks. I hope you are able to get some form of restitution. I try to avoid any of these large trucks like the plague. Too many of them these days couldn't care less about the people they share the road with. In hindsight, you should have called the police immediately so you could...

    What's your price to sell?

Tough call. To me it is not so much about the money, but what I would replace it with. I can't think of many vehicles out there that have the utility, capability and cool factor that the Raptor has off of the showroom floor. Not to give the guys at Ford any ideas, but even if the Raptor cost...

My AC died on me again

My truck is doing something similar (2014 with 1900 miles on it). It seems to mostly occur on really hot days. Is it possible there is some sort of temperature sensor that might be telling it to shut off?

Installation/Review JL Audio C5-570 Component Speakers

What size sub would you be able to fit in it? Can you integrate the amplifier or do you offer a prefab bracket for it to attach behind the seat? I would be looking for something as plug and play and unobtrusive as possible. Thanks.

Installation/Review JL Audio C5-570 Component Speakers

I'll definitely add them when the time comes to install a new amplifier, thanks. Any suggestions for an easy to install subwoofer that goes in the factory location and will fit next to the Tuffy under the seat storage box?

Installation/Review JL Audio C5-570 Component Speakers

Thank you for this thread. I just installed these today along with C5-570X coaxials in the rear doors, and the instructions here were quite helpful. I did do a few things differently. I opted not to use the crossovers in the front, and re-used the factory tweeter wiring with the built-in...

    The Tune by SVC

I installed my SVC tune this evening. I typically don't wax poetically about this sort of thing, but I've been grinning ear to ear ever since driving it. Below is an e-mail I just sent to Jeff which sums up my impressions: "Jeff, I finally installed the tune this evening and drove the...

How do you feel driving a race car compare to your truck?!!!

No issues at all driving cars. I own several vehicles, and the Raptor is currently my only truck, but have owned several trucks over the years including an F450. For daily driving around town, I prefer the Raptor. There are so many unqualified drivers on the roads these days, and few seem to...

Survey: Borla Touring or S-Type Exhaust ?

Yes, I did. Unlike the Touring which comes with its own resonator, the S type retains the factory one. This is what I have...

Survey: Borla Touring or S-Type Exhaust ?

I have the Borla S type with stock headers and the factory airbox. Unless you have your foot in it, there is very little drone at highway speeds. I would say maybe 10-15% more drone (at most) than the factory exhaust under light throttle at a sustained 70-80 mph. The exhaust is surprisingly...
