I would highly recommend a Raptor. Jeeps are only rated to tow about 2k pounds regardless of what motor is in them.
Overlanding is a whole separate thing. What kind of overland trips are you planning and what are you looking to haul with you?
We also swapped a built, supercharged 6.2 into a Tremor in I think 2014....? I would like to see someone swap a twin turbo Coyote 5.0 into the new Raptor!
They appear to be Geiser springs as others have mentioned. I don't think Geiser is making those springs anymore...at least to my knowledge. Nothing wrong with Camburg uniball UCA's. These are there 1.25" uniball model. One thing that is kinda funky is that cap. Camburg doesn't make a uniball cap...
The last full frame swap we did was closer to the 10-12k mark. 30-35k is absolutely insane to swap just the frame. Is there other damage like rear bumper, fenders, etc? You could definitely do a lot of with 30-35k in payout, but a back half, cage and 4-Link would be out of the range.
U-Bolts are designed to stretch anytime they are torqued down. It is highly recommend to change the u-bolts anytime you are swapping out a leaf pack or installing something like this. Otherwise you risk overstretching the U-Bolts.
A little info on our winch mount system....
We designed our winch mount to not only be the strongest mount on the market, but also an easy install that can be done in your driveway in a few hours with basic hand tools.
A properly designed sprung under kit will net you more wheel travel than your current set-up. When we designed our spring under kit a couple years ago we cycled it with a stock shock in the stock location. With this combination we were cycling 16.5" and you should be close to if not a tiny bit...
We have 2 brand new Stainless Works Exhaust Systems for sale. New In Box...customer backed out. Both of them are lightning style. One of them is with the performance connect and one is a factory connect.
$1,060 for either one with free shipping!
If you have any questions, feel...
I have been on part of the trail that goes from Canada to Mexico here in AZ so I know it exists... But I stumbled across it on accident and haven't looked into it much further. It would be an AWESOME trip!
Build yourself a "drop hitch" in a sense out of some 2x2 square steel and slide it into the receiver hitch. Way safer than the blocks of wood in my experience.... have had those fail on me before. Haha.
Oh, and some big jack stands like this
Still not sure why you want your truck to sit so high. This truck has our LT kit on it, sprung under, cantilever, fiberglass and 37's. Sits nice and low.
If anyone needs DOT approved helmets, let me know! We have some really nice and REALLY light weight HJC CS-R2 Helmets on the shelf! The HJC CS-R2 can be set up with in-helmet wiring kit for intercoms.
If you have any questions about pricing, let me know! I am always more than happy to help.
Or you could get the OE Fox replacement shields from us! Ford charges an insane amount for the replacement roost shields. We have the full wrap around ones.
Raptor Rear Shin Guards
If you are planning on driving the truck every day, or even regularly, I wouldn't recommend linking a truck. Street mannerisms will go down significantly. Towing goes down significantly.
The stock fuel system on a Raptor is a nightmare to work with when trying to swap to a fuel cell...
You can set up the rear suspension a couple different ways. You don't have to do the bump kit right away, but it is recommend to get the most up travel possible with the RXT system.
Here is the complete rear suspension kit from Icon: 2010 - Current Ford Raptor RXT 3.0 Rear Suspension System...
