My truck had a chirp /squeak just cold start and would only last 10 to 30 seconds.
It was the idler pulleys. The center bearing is getting dry
New idlers fixed it.
Take the belt off before you start it cold when you're fairly sure it would happen. Start and check for noise.
Spin the idlers and...
I did the rebuild on a second set stock shocks to replace my originals. I have done regular type coilover shocks and the stock Raptor ones are easy. They just have a few more steps and details to be aware of.
Being in Canada and shipping them to the states is stupid expensive and the dollar...
Had my TCM update done this morning. Since I'm an hour away from the dealer I told them when booking I would have to wait for it. They had no problem with that and were very accommodating to get it in first thing when I showed up. Only took 1.5 hours and zero issues.
Thank you Skaha Ford
I bit the bullet and made an appointment to get the 6R80 reflash. At least no waits to get in and it will be done while I wait. Closest dealer is about 40 miles away.
I got these off Amazon when 1 of mine burnt out. Have been in for over 2.5 years. They are the stock amber color. They have 4 distinct led lights. Only $36 in Canada for 3 lights. You have to cut and solder on your factory connectors.
When your dead, nobody is going to dig you up to give you a second chance to drive the Raptor.
Enjoy it while you can.
That shit box electric crap is going to be rammed down our throats.
Mine is a 2013 and I received the reprogram notice. It doesn't qualify for the new leadframe. I had heard of these "stories" of issues after the reflash. I'm also curious of others experience.
My wife and I ran a section of an old railroad. The Kettle Valley Railroad. One section of this railway has 2 tunnels and 18 trestles in just a few miles. We ran a different section a little north west of home. Crossed this trestle years ago in my Bronco before the handrails were installed.

Depending on how loud it is some noise is normal. The owners manual even talks about it.
However, if your engaging the 4x4 while moving and the rear end is slipping a slight bit the difference in wheel speed will cause the T case to slam into gear.
Just did a 600 mile run on tuesday 95% on highway. A lot of big hills and 75mph. Got 14.8 mpg.
Gotta get acceptable mileage when our gas runs about $ 7 a gallon
That block is for taming some NVH Ford found when testing. You find them in a lot of vehicles. They do something when new, but when the rubbers are broken/ old, it just rattles real bad.
Yes BC requires a front plate. There is a fine for not having it. You will harrassed for not having it.
I have been harassed many times for no doors on my early bronco. Broncos were available back in the day without doors so can't do anything about it.
Installed my new 4" round LED lights up front. These are a spot light. The old ones were supposed to be spot lights but didnt spot that well. I also modified SW1 upfitter relay to turn on the new lights with the high beams. I didn't like having to hit the switch and the high beam switch to kill...
You say it blows " as soon as key is inserted into ignition" ... do you mean as soon as you turn the key to the run position ?
There is the Fuel Pump Control Module powered by that fuse which runs the pump.
Any codes?
Yes you have a vacuum leak.
You can pull and plug the vacuum line at the solenoid and that will engage the IWEs all the time. Same thing as IWE delete. Your 2WD and 4WD will work fine.
You can also try just unplug solenoid not sure if it will set a code.
