I have a Gen 3 with 600 miles on it. Mine is doing the same thing in drive while stopped at a light/stop sign. Engine is idling at 500 RPM. Has anyone talked to Ford or their respective dealership to see what the deal is?
Pittsburgh, Pa. Wheels were just taken off at 250 miles. Like new! Set of 4 Gen 3 17x 8.5 cast aluminum wheels. TPM sensors NOT included. $1000.00 for local pickup. If shipped we can work something out. Let me know.
What does it mean if my dealer told me that Ford has "picked up my order"?. My dealer called me today and told me the news. I placed the order in early February for a 22'. Bad news is he told me bead lock wheels are not available so they had to be removed.
Update for everyone dealing with this issue. My dealership finally got the backordered Fox shocks in and replaced both FRONT shocks. The noise/vibration is FINALLY gone. I'll update again in a few days to see if there is still no issue.
My truck has an error currently that says while slowing to a stop "transmission not in park". Also hill decent control is not available. Dealership said the shift module is bad and it's on back order til April..... Must be a common problem on the new gen F150 if it's on back order unless it...
Welcome to the club. Unfortunately there are way too many of us out there with the same exact problem. Rear shocks already replaced in the fall. Same noise/rattle/vibration. Front shocks have been on order for 2 months. No joy yet.....doubt it will fix anything anyway. Pretty ridiculous for a...
For the past week when I get in my truck (21' Raptor 35) I get a notification that hill decent control is not available and it says "transmission not in park". Finally got it to the dealer today and they told me there is a failure with the gear shift module. 4,000 miles on the truck and I don't...
I have attempted to trade my 21' 35 package fully loaded (MSRP 77k) due to suspension clunking/noises that haven't been fixed. My highest offer was 77k for trade. I only have 4500 miles. Kind of disappointed as my KBB value was 91k and NADA was 88k.... So in the real world dealers in my area...
Dealer says backordered shocks for replacement until middle of February for me. Already replaced rear shocks with NO improvement so they are going to try the front ones now. The cold definitely seems to make the rattle/vibration worse.
Has anyone KBB'd their Gen 3 (2021) Raptor? Recently researched mine (21 801a 35 package 4,000 miles) with very good condition and it's putting me at $93,000.00. Has anyone else traded theirs in and got anywhere near this? I understand the market is crazy but you can buy a new one for 76k...
Thanks for the update. My dealership is apparently climbing the chain at Ford for additional answers after replacing the rear shocks did nothing and noise/ vibration continues. I have approximately 3500 miles on the truck and it seems to be getting worse (maybe more noticeable bc of the extreme...
Has anyone else scheduled or taken their Gen 3 to the dealership for this "unknown" ridiculousness? I'm leaning on trading mine since I'm getting the run around at my dealership after replacing the rear shocks and absolutely no better outcome.
If you dont mind me asking.... Did they give you a good trade in value for your 21? I'm looking online and people are selling there's for 95k + with only a few thousand miles. Curious what they are giving for trades.
Mine had the exact same water spots (hard rain). My best guess is our trucks sat in an open lot for weeks awaiting the "chips" and we're subject to hard rain which did a number on the clear coat .... Lovely right
Did they listen or look to the sway bar components? I was able to get under my truck and try and wiggle the drive shaft. It had very very minimal play, so I doubt that's the issue.
Without a doubt. My service advisor told me a single FOX shock is $1,800.00 and for them to replace both rear shocks and not solve the issue is a waste of money although at least the dealership is trying. I'm leaning towards the drive shaft being responsible for the noise since the shocks were...
Bad news guys. Both rear FOX shocks were replaced yesterday at my dealership. The issue with the rattling/vibration is still there. The FORD technician even admitted still hearing and feeling the issue after the shocks had been replaced. They are claiming that it sounds like it's coming from the...
This is awesome to hear!!!!!! I bet FORD is finally listening to the several complaints through dealers and maybe reading this forum! Good luck everyone
Update for my issue. My dealership said that a replacement FOX shock (rear driver's side), will arrive at the dealership tomorrow to replace. We'll see if that helps. Wonder why some dealerships are advising customers that the FOX shocks are not available or on back order
Mine is at the dealership for the 3rd time. They finally agree that the noise/vibration at lower speeds is NOT NORMAL. Bouncing on the rear bumper will cause a popping sound that was traced back to the rear driver side SHOCK. Awaiting FORD Tech to advise. I truly believe the more of us GEN 3...
My dealer is convinced it's a problem with the rear shocks causing the rattle/vibration when driving over minor bumps. Still not advice from FORD TECH tho. So in the meantime the dealership isn't touching it......
