I ended up using a Ford Performance 820 which is bigger/heavier and is suppose to be a better filter. It was left over from another vehicle I had so I put it on since it is suppose to fit and be the best filter available.

Yes the old gasket was still on the original oil filter. I will drive it a few more days and keep an eye on it. Thanks for the replies back.
