As I've stated earlier... Test that sucker at speed over some bumpy roads (preferably back to back with something else) and then make your decision.

I'll second this. I think the OP and many others (myself included) can be misled by the many reviews online about the truck. It's described online as being able to soak up the bumps. A lexus can soak up the bumps too, and that may be our original frame of reference. But what is often left...

I got a quote for $2000 for the full front, hood, leading edges, door cups, etc. + $400 for both sides rocker panels. Same location quoted $6000 for full PPF + Ceramic coating with 5 year warranty. This is in Sacramento. Reputable installer.

Sorry to hear about your uncomfortable seats. It could be they need to break in, or maybe you just aren't fitting very well? For me, at a slender 6'7", the Recaros fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. Much better for me than any other seat in the F-150.
