So I got my ruthenium spark plugs from an authorized NGK source (ngk.com). I got the right part number (verified several times and with tech). When I went to do the job I compared the old to the new and the NGK plug is several mm taller...wtf? This can’t be normal, can it?
stock tune limits you to 100mph max...also careful going much higher than this as your tires are rated for it
you can also check your rev limiter in park or neutral. rev it up and see how high it goes...i believe you are held to 3k in park.
yeah i wouldn't rebuild..i have had issues with leaking shortly after rebuilding and same with friends; usually warranties cover that but its a hassle. Use Tasca or Rock Auto to get the full set for around 1.5k (parts only). Or you can look at buying some gen 2 shocks and fit them...rears go...
I haven't seen anything come up on my searches for ruthenium spark plugs so forgive me if this has been posted before.
My question to the community is what do you think about these new ruthenium spark plugs offered by NGK?
Has anyone tried them on their raptor yet? I'm asking about 6.2L...
