That’s awesome I’ve used flir on boats but never on a truck. So I used to be able to force the front cam but now I can only force the backup cam with rear defroster. Front defroster doesn’t do anything so maybe there is just a wiring issue with my front cam?

Ah so that’s probably what that little black box is next to the console. I’ll do some research, never heard of them.

Well I haven’t really checked on anything but today I discovered that if I cycle my rear defroster on and off the backup camera comes on and stays on until I do it again even in drive. Not sure what this means but maybe just faulty computer. Would updating my sync software do anything?

Ok well I am on trip until next Thursday and don’t have the truck but when I get back I might give u a call thank you. I’ve heard a lot about the program REW. Would this do the same thing?

All this info is helpful. I won’t be home to try anything for about a week but the fact that both go if one goes makes me think it could just be faulty wiring on either camera which sounds hard to find. I’ll update when I get back to test.

Is this a computer app? I will look into it. I have been using a couple RTA phone apps but I am guessing they are not accurate enough to really be much help?

I have been having this same problem for about a year and have found whenever my backup camera doesn’t work the front camera also won’t work with it. This makes me curious that it may be a faulty module. Let me know what else you find and good luck!

I also had muddy bass but what really fixed that problem for me was avoiding the sub input from the headunit/amp and instead letting the LC7i or FIX sum the speaker inputs into a sub output for the amp. I never tried that when I had the LC7i but I am pretty sure it works the same as the FiX...

UPDATE So I bought a JL Fix 86 today primarily for the auto calibrate function. Hooked it up and calibrated it and the results honestly impressed me for not doing any tuning off a computer. Ended up calling JL with help as to how to get the unit to turn on based off of signal vs a remote wire...

Well I do have the passive crossovers that came with the Morels in use. Are you saying that you would recommend upgrading the crossovers? I am not really sure what that would do. I thought those are essentially just to send the different frequencies to the appropriate speakers.
