Thanks!
Just pretend like you're spending $45k on a truck and $5k on a supercharger already installed.
If you really want it, it's never out of range...
J/K... don't make bad financial decisions based on your emotions.
Look at your serpentine belt and replace it if it's cracked... mine had a bunch of little cracks in it at 57k miles and looked original so I replaced it. Keep a spare belt with you (I've never had issues, but others have).
Check your idler pulleys while you have the belt off... two of mine...
Has anyone used Motul in their rear diff? They make a 75w140. https://www.motul.com/us/en-US/products/gear-competition-75w140
I read a lot of people use Amsoil. I was about to order some, but saw that Motul makes some too. It's for a Gen 1 truck.
Probably a couple grand... especially from Cali to anywhere else. If you don't mind putting on the miles, you're better off flying here and driving it home. It'll be a fun drive. I've done it a few times in a TDI.
For the right price and non-refundable deposit, I'll drive it out to the east...
For sale is my 2013 Roush Raptor. No modifications. It is Roush built so it is serialized. Truck is loaded. See window sticker for options.
$55,000
I picked it up last summer and enjoy it, but I need something more economical at the moment. I’d rather not have two vehicles, but I don’t mind...
Yeah... I always liked them. If they were 17", I'd put them on the truck already. It's hard to justify new tires when the ones on there are relatively new.
I have a set of Fuel wheels. Came off of a 2017 Ford Raptor. I wanted to throw them on my 2013 and run 37" tires, but I might sell my truck, so the wheels are for sale. Guy I bought them from went with different wheels so I have his old boxes as well for shipping.
Make: Fuel
Model: ZEPHYR...
I recently picked up a '13 Roush with 53k on it. Drove it from Boise to SoCal (~900 miles) and it drove amazing. Better driving experience than a stock one (did that trip a few times with a stock 2013). Plenty of power when you want to pass people and it cruises just fine. Super fun to drive...
I have the Open Range A/T tires from Schwab. Truck came with them and looked pretty new. They are good. I like them for all around performance. I haven't taken them in the dirt yet. Drove around town and did a 900mile road trip and they feel solid. They don't look like they'll last too...
I always wanted a Taco. Towards the end of the 2000s I ended up with an 04 diesel F250 King Ranch. I loved that truck. Had it for 5 years and never though about anything smaller since. I’ve been though 5 trucks, and they’ve all been full sized.
I looked before and it was hit or miss. From 600-2000. I found and picked up a set for 600 in Vegas including swapping spares so all 5 matches. Tires still had some life in them which was cool. It took a few months, but they come up every now and then.
If you don't want it anymore or aren't planning to get another one any time soon, go for it. I sold my last one to Autonation. I've used Carmax as well for a quick sale. You can always get a quote from them and post it privately for a couple grand more.
I sold mine in early October and...
