Just put an Equil-i-zer, 10000lb weight distribution hitch on to pull a camper.
With the trailer disconnected, I keep the hitch in the receiver, but every time I put it in reverse, the truck thinks I'm about to crash into the hitch! A loud warning beep comes on and I have to manually disable...
Right. You can see something in their hand. It may be a hair dryer for all I know, but they do get on the radio if you're too fast.

... and they informed us that this is the only Ford event that gets to...
First, a big thanks to the OP of this thread, JetDriver480. The event was almost exactly as you described.
Next, on the topic of the Baja course: that segment of this event is essentially dead. It's obvious that Ford doesn't want the liability. This was only a half-mile stretch of...
I have an English Mastiff, and I got the cap for this reason alone.
Just be careful on the install:

I also purchased a ramp for him to get in.

I will be there. Interestingly, they left the install kit in my truck. I will "forget" those at home. Good tip. Now that I know, I'll be in there with a flashlight checking all corners. Thanks.
Don't know. I'll check when I get it back.
Body shop is slow, so I still don't have my truck. I'm expecting it back Friday. The cap won't be reinstalled for another week or so.
I really appreciate the pics. I'll use then as reference when I get the cap back on. I believe more now that the...
Good question.
I have since seen a F150 FX4 with the same cap, and there was a gap of about 1/4" between the bed and the cap at the rear. I have no idea if the gap was there when it was originally installed, but I suspect it wasn't. I'll be checking for it when they reinstall the cap, for sure.
So I purchased a SnugTop cap and had it installed by the dealer.
When I got the truck home I noticed that the rear window of the cap was not latching easily on the passenger side. It required an extra push to ensure the latch would shut.
A month later I took the truck on an off-road...
I searched the forum and I can't find the answer, so I apologize if this has already been covered.
I'm looking for a black beadlock ring to go with my factory beadlock capable wheels. (Not the beauty ring that comes with the wheels.) The only ones I can find are aluminum, and I don't like...
Well, I easily climbed some sand dunes that he slid on.
We both climbed the waterfall, but I left a 16 inch strip of powder coat from my passenger running board. Raptor was just too wide to make it clean. (Fortunately the paint was not touched.)
Thanks. I didn't notice before. I do have the factory spray-in. I recently got a cap for the bed, and the light shining through was very noticeable inside the dark bed.
So...I'm out this past Saturday at the dunes having a blast...doing what this thing was meant to do! My buddy takes his Power Wagon and we play "Anything you can do, I can do better."
I get back and get to detailing it Sunday, when I notice a small separation between the floor of the bed and...
I have 1200 miles on mine...all of it city driving.
My total average is about 15.3.
If I baby the throttle I can get it to 16.2...but who wants to baby the throttle on this thing?
When I ordered mine, I specified to delete the applique.
The kid at the dealership missed it when calling it in, and I ended up with the applique on.
When I saw the truck for the first time, I pointed it out to the saleslady immediately. She went pale!
I asked her if they could just...
