“Fraptors”? I call them Faptors. Seems more appropriate.
It doesn’t really bother me. I saw a F-250 with a tow bed, clearly a work truck with the grill and lights. I face palmed hard when I saw that.
Free-ish. You have to pay for travel and lodging. They provide one meal. Also, there is a store on site (the place where you take the class) with Ford Performance merch. Not sure if the stuff is exclusive or not.
There are couple long posts here describing the class. Replying on my phone while...

Different technique, but it is confirmed to work on Gen 2 raptors. There is a link to a more detailed article at the bottom of the article I linked to.
It was in my pocket until I used it to turn the alarm off. I forgot about perimeter setting, but know at least I know to shut it off when I'm too lazy to set up a tent.
I never thought about the interior alarm sensors until I the first time I slept on the back seat. The key was with me the entire time and the alarm went off a few times while I was arranging/getting into the sleeping bag.
Had no idea what happened until thinking about it the next day and...
I bought my SCAB new in May 2017. Never noticed a door rattle. Maybe I got lucky. Just a rattle from the center console which I suspect is the cable I ran for the head unit of my ham radio.
This. I ordered my truck custom. Went with a list of features based on what I liked from my car at the time and some things I added from researching the Raptor (torsen diff was one). Salesman talked me into an 802a package because he thought it was better for resale. I said no to the sunroof and...
Love my SCAB. I never considered buying the SCREW because the main point (for me) of buying the Raptor was for off-road/utility and the SCAB is more suited to it. Looks better too.
Also, I find crew cab doors fucking annoying whenever I have to borrow someone else’s truck (rare). I am...
So I bought this adapter and it works great! I changed to the Lincoln autofold mirrors and disabled the fake engine noise. Both worked, but when I disabled the fake engine noise there was a loud pop from the speakers. Is that normal for this mod? My speakers don't seemed to be affected.
Also...
I will have to take a look on the F150 forums. My Kiwi 3 OBD adapter (not Forscan compatible) is Bluetooth and I have had problems with connecting to DashCommand (iPhone app). This is related to having a simultaneous Bluetooth connection to my stereo and that is why I choose the MX WiFi.
Due...
Has anyone here used the OBDLink MX WiFi with Forscan and how well did it work? I think the unit I got is defective because Forscan gives an error that is something like 'Service procedure interrupted' while attempting to read the modules in the programming screen. Also, it loses connection with...
I picked up some molle visor wraps from Sunrise Tactical. Only took pics of the driver side, but I got one for the both visors. It mostly covers those damn safety stickers too.
They're well made and I would recommend them.
The strap blocks the mirror a little, but I don't use it...
I suggest emailing Weatherguard directly. That's what I did when I was interested in one of there tool chests. I haven't bought it yet, but they said it will fit.
Yeah I was thinking about padding for gear more susceptible to damage like an air pump, but as space fillers is a good idea too. I have to admit a bit of ignorance in terminology. Knuckles are steering knuckles I'm assuming, but what about fivers?
I like the tool rolls and they aren't too...
When driving high speed 60+ MPH on rougher roads/on whoops/etc is there a risk to damaging the truck bed from the weight of a loaded toolbox? I am considering buying a toolchest from Weatherguard to go under my tonneau. Obviously it needs to be installed correctly, but there will be a lot of...
The wires from the upfitter switches terminate in the engine area for connecting offroad lights, etc. If instead your gear is inside the cab you can connect the wires from an upfitter switch to the matching passthru wire. For example I use this to power my ham radio because it needs 12amps.
I took the course recently and it was amazing. There are plenty of details in this thread already so I won't go over them again. What i will say is that watching YouTube videos of the Raptor made by owners and even paid reviewers don't really show just how much this truck can do offroad. The...
With some help I found a good spot to run coax into the cab. First you have to release the rear seat behind the driver seat. I have not found great descriptions of this so here is another picture of the release. The pin with the zip tie (added) is what you are looking for. A wrench can be used...
