That answer from the zone manager would make sense if the question was to get a VIN. DORAs happen when the truck goes in the order bank which is happening now.
The dealer has to put up with the service crap that the manufacturer creates too. It's very much a two way street. Also, the manufacturer doesn't have time to play with the short term market changes in pricing. They have inventory and parts to move. The manufacturer is reaping just fine.
Software update won't be enough to make these driverless. A whole of extra hardware will be needed to support that type of driving. I also don't really see it being worth it on the Raptor. Just gets in the way of off roading and additional hardware to support excursions. :)
