It's good if you like to check your transmission fluid once in a while.
It's really good if you do your own work and service your transmission yourself.
It's cosmically awesome if you don't like burned knuckles.
Douglas Adams had the inside track on this.
In Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy he posited a switch on an advanced one-of-a-kind starship that had a sign that read, "Do not touch this switch."
When the protagonist of the story flipped the switch a little screen activated. It read, "Do not touch...
THANK YOU! That worked. It sure takes a very fast stab on that button, though.
13 years and over 100,000 miles. This is the first time that's happened, and I don't know why it happened.
Thanks again!
This just appeared on my 2011 SCAB. Trip A has this yellow rectangle with odd symbol on the left superimposed on the normal screen. Trip B is normal. What does this mean and how do I get rid of it, Please?
I have not owned a Rigid product. However given what has been written about them on FRF, yes I would recommend DD products over Rigid products. DD has exceptional customer support. I had trouble with their LED replacements for the front side markers. They kept burning out. I called the...
Diode Dynamics also has backlit fog lamps. Their quality exceeds that of Rigid (which has quality and customer service problems that are well documented here on FRF), and they are priced quite a bit better than BD. I have one pair of DD fogs and they are excellent.
Not to my knowledge. The chip repair relies on sucking the air out of the site, and the resultant vacuum draws the repair substance into the fracture. I don't think there is a way to suck the air out of a crack.
You have relatives here.
Extend the tailgate step and note how the pivoting top of the step causes the hook to disengage from the hook-shaped latch fixed to the inside of the tailgate. If you have used your step appreciably you will probably see where the hook has worn away the paint on the...
This may help. I PM'd FordTechOne and he responded as follows:
"The blend door clicking means that the HVAC Module has lost track of the blend door position, which is typically caused by a failed potentiometer inside the blend door actuator. If the battery is fully charged and you’ve done a 15...
I meant to PM you rather than post here. I apologize. If you would kindly PM me there is more to tell about this, but the word count limits here are restrictive. Thanks!
Sir, I need your help. I inadvertently ran down a nearly new Odyssey battery to between 4 and 5 volts. The battery has recovered nicely, but as soon as I start the truck there is clicking sound from the passenger foot well - the blend door, I believe. It did this only briefly and intermittently...
Me too at 68 years of age at the time. You need a good selection of socket set extensions, a u-joint extension and/or wobble extensions, and a real good spark plug boot puller. Every one of my always garaged Raptor's spark plugs had evidence of lite rust on the threads, so some anti-seize...
Replying to my own post, but actually asking for HELP. I inadvertently ran down a nearly new Odyssey battery to between 4 and 5 volts. A few moments after turning on a 6 amp battery charger I heard a pronounced humming coming from the front left side of the cab. I quickly turned off the...
This isn't unique. Back in 2011 when I was looking at intakes for my 6.2L GEN1, I went to the Ford Parts site and compared all of the intake parts for all of the F-150 engines available in that model year. I was rather surprised to learn that all of the part numbers were the same across all...
Mine has been sticky at times. It required considerable force to open on occasion. It wasn't as sticky as yours, apparently, because I was able to open it by simply muscling it open. You don't need a dealer for this - it's a simple mechanical problem. I suggest two things: Put on a pair of...
In went with these for my GEN1 some years ago. Available in 10, 30, 60, and 120 degree light dispersion, I am happy with the 60 degree version.
