Awesome, love the idea. Just noticed on their website the new FUEL version of their 1/2" cordless impacts have two modes, and depending on the model I'm seeing 100 ft-lb & 700 ft-lb or 350 & 600. Maybe even another variation? Either way, items in general like these make me recognize how great...
Well well, this is convenient. I heard this start-up clunk yesterday morning in mine for the first time, scared the bejeesus out of me! I happened to be walking in front of the truck a few seconds after issuing a remote start command while it was starting and it did what I believe you to be...
Wow man, that's an amazing setup you have there - congrats. It looks like a blast! What are the manners like on the streets and freeways? More importantly, what's the install time on the RST18 -- probably not too long at all? Looking forward to the video
So you're the guy he was doing remote tuning with/for! Congrats for sure, the right equipment (no matter the price level) and especially a good adjustment makes a HUGE difference.
I definitely owe a review/write-up for Noah and The Car Stereo Company, so that will be coming soon.
Personally...
Maannn I've been peepin your pics and sneak peeks of the bed sides to go along with the fronts from you I already have ... you're not helping here. Too bad that's not MY Ruby Red having the bedside glass put on it :(
Thanks for the response Vince, I'll have to see what I can do - I think it looks wrong with these stock center caps. Am tempted on the rim I fubar'd to sand down the powdercoat in the center bore section to see what that takes and how they fit then. I'll figure something out and let you know...
Thanks! Whoever said it, was right (just running the Geiser Bros springs up front for now, stock perch and love it and have some minor rubbing near full lock backing but haven't trimmed anything yet, only had it happen twice)
Thanks, love how the wheels turned out -- they are even more awesome...
Hey vince, do you have the ability to do slight variations in size? When my rims got powder coated (two layers) ... guess what, the center caps didn't fit and I didn't think of it. Ended up completely jacking up the powder coating on a rim (all my fault)...but not one SINGLE cap made it even...
17" Method NVs powder coated in bronze chrome with a matt top coat (powders by Prismatic) wrapped with 37" BFG TAs -- more/bigger pics here but most are not on the truck. I strongly encourage you to check out the link to see how crazy they look up close or with a strong flash. Love how they came...
Might have to take off early sometime this week and get these on, not sure I can wait until the weekend...lol. There's an out of depth preview mock-up, and two closeups after mounting (one without and one with flash). Final pics once done.
Speaking of replacement parts, does anyone know if any of the model trim lines A pillar pieces are same color as our Raptors (specifically the SE if diff than non) and DO NOT have the tweeter pod?
That's a great looking picture of the truck IMO! Very nice
I'm going to go with Rogue's sway bar, which I think I've seen somewhere else too. Also appears to be disconnected on passenger side, for all the right reasons of course.
I like them, noah did mine a while back too along with a few other things. ;) Horrible picture of them, really simple and useful mod indeed - there is a lot of ambient light but the rollx is closed, and you can still see how well they work.
I know what your Raptor's audio system needs...it needs Noah, his infinite wisdom, ability and contacts. All you need is 3-5 minutes inside one of his rolling audio masterpieces (preferably with his creepy self outside the vehicle, watch him carefully lol) to realize what you were missing.
I have the HPS kit at home, need to order a radiator so I can do it all at once. The HPS are very nice but I would expect them to be - could get you some real pics if you were so interested in that.
Got my custom plate denial reversed and accepted, sooo happy about that! Also heard from the powdercoater that the Methods should be done and ready to pick up next week. Ordered TPMS sensors for mounting the above. "Today is a good day"
