Only owner, 2014 model. Factory Sync system. Used it with a few different iPhones over the years, come to terms with things like "please wait, building index" response from Sync when giving audio commands too soon/etc.
BUT ... a new issue. Not sure if related to new iOS or if I'm the only...
Well, already solved the problem. Tried pulling, waiting and replacing the fuses for the Sync and also for the audio amplifier. Didn't work. Then I popped the hood and detached the black/ground from the battery for about 10 minutes, then reconnected it. System rebooted again (somehow differently...
No audio at all. Every other quadrant works fine (Phone, BT, Maps, climate control). But no audio at all. Even when I press buttons on the screen that work. When I try to turn on the system with the hard button, entertainment quadrant reports (at the bottom of the quadrant) "Entertain. Not...
Just happened to me ... 2014 Raptor. Wouldn't turn-over completely after being parked for an hour. Towed to dealer over 150 miles. Dealer just called and said it was the fuse. Re-wiring "or it'll happen again". Ford Service guy admitted as much as a design issue, and even encouraged me to take...
2014 Raptor, fully updated Sync. Previously using a Nokia Icon phone paired via BT to Sync. When I received a text message, the audio (regardless of source; FM/AM/Sat/etc) would be interrupted and the phone would ask me audibly, "You've received a new text message. Read it ?" ... I could then...
Well, Ford apparently refuses to address it. It's all over Internet forums as a problem. I've sent PMs with no reply to Ford people. I think it has something to do with inconsistent metadata on the tracks, perhaps DRM tracks, but I'm not sure. All I know is that the exact same hardware worked...
I've actually been pretty pleased with Microsoft's Sync system in my Mustang, which I had for years. Worked perfectly always. Not sure what changed with that in the new MFT setup. I talked with a friend of mine who's a Microsoft employee who told me Ford engineers got way more into the GUI this...
I had a Mustang for years with the Sync system ... my Zune worked flawlessly always. In my Raptor the things is seemingly always indexing and then rebuilding commands. Like every single time I start it. I have to wait a few minutes before I can really even engage it. I've tried resetting the...
I've looked at this thing all day ...,the front of it just doesn't seem to 'sit up' as aggressively as my 2014. It's like the front dips downward and draws in more narrow towards the front. We already know it's an inch less wide. I think it's lost some kickass stance for smoothness and aerodynamics.
Overall, looks good and I like it. But ...
1) Front of the vehicle - design looks cool, but looks to "plastic". The outline on the headlights looks cool
2) I DO NOT LIKE THE TAILGATE as well. That plastic on it. I do not like that.
3) Overall, truck looks good. I wouldn't say a ton...
This is a Zune media player from Microsoft ... indexed fine on my 2011 Mustang (Sync, but no MFT), but on my Raptor, just seems to say "indexing" all the friggin' time. Many times won't play until several minutes after I've been driving, then just from what it's indexed. Even though I'm leaving...
Before I got my Raptor, I had a Mustang with the Microsoft Sync system. Since it was from Microsoft, I used their Zune subscription music service+device and was very pleased with the integration, affordability and flexibility. That said, now that I moved to MFT, it just constantly, constantly...
