That's sweet. If only there was a spot to put it on a 2014. Best place I can think of would be where the trailer brake is. I've always like toggle switches, I wonder if one of them would work.
Looks great! I've been leaning towards blacking out the grey for a while and after seeing yours I think it's a must.
My plan is a Rogue Racing front bumper and maybe matching rear bumper, satin black grill and flares, and RSiWorks headlights. Coming once the oil field picks back up.
I meant oil drain pan, not oil pan. Whoops. I had it in my storage closet outside my apt, went to grab it and it was gone.
I went to the dealership to confront them after not having my calls answered or returned that day. Service rep said the tech that did the oil change saw the oil and used...
No I don't even own a pressure washer, I did it at one of those coin operated places. About to move into a house though so maybe I'll get one. Heck, I spent enough at the coin place that I could have bought one. First I'm going to try and use a sprinkler for the underbody.
I remember seeing...
After spending a couple months in the Midland sand/mud I finally got back home. Truck was a mess, the mud/sand was everywhere, literally. My door jams were caked in mud, the rubber trim around the windows and sun roof had mud dried into it so much so that soap and water wouldn't remove it and I...
Took it to the dealership for an oil change because my oil pan is missing. Provided Amsoil oil and filter, go to pay and I'm charged the full amount. Go talk with their service rep who takes off the charge but not before pulling around my truck that was sitting out front and taking it out of...
The big question is, is it a tuned up standard 3.5L ecoboost or a detuned version of the GT? If it's the standard 3.5L with a more performance oriented tune there might not be much room to grow.
I like these kinds off threads because you always learn something new as long as they don't get derailed by trolling. Really wish I didn't have to read about douchebags, comfort in sexuality, or overcompensating.
What I'm more interested in turbo versus supercharger. About all of us are...
The EcoBoost is impressive on paper but that's what forced induction will give you. I think you'll be dissapointed if you're expecting a tune and exhaust will give you what the GT puts out. It probably has bigger turbos on it or something, cause if a tune will give you an extra 150 horses then...
No. I do like the technology in it and the looks might grow on me (tailgate never will) but the Ecoboost kills it for me. I'll just take the premium they decide to charge for it and buy myself a supercharger for the 6.2L. I don't see them squeezing 685 horses out of the 3.5L.
Apples to oranges. Ones NA and the other is boosted. You're going to max out at 600hp with the V6 because that's what they were able to squeeze out of the GT. Meanwhile, I can slap a supercharger on the 6.2 and get 685hp. Rebuild the engine and you're looking at 800.
It's just too small of a...
As disappointed as most of us are about the tiny ecoboost, imagine how disappointed Ford GT fans/owners are about Ford throwing in an ecoboost in a supercar! Ford what are you thinking?
I had the same problems as you did at first when i was trying to fit it in there by hand. I used a rubber mallet and was able to get it to sit flush and it also helped with getting the washer to sit properly.
Took out a concrete post with my drivers side one, apparently one of my favorite restaurants decided to install them in the empty lot next door while I was out of town. Prevented any damage to the actual boards or truck itself so that's a win in my book.
A week ago I installed the Tune and then the day after I installed a new Corsa Xtreme. Needless to say my foot has been a little heavier than usual but not that bad. I've noticed my mpg drop to 9.3 when I usually get 12 around town. What are people's experience with their mpg after installing...
I think a lot of people don't know the actual price on Raptors. I've had one friend mention how it was an 80k truck and then a guy who lives in my apartment complex and owns a Ford Mustang GT thought it was a 100k truck.
That's what I was thinking. Ethanol burns much dirtier than gas and engine modifications are needed when running E85. I think it's 33% less efficient than gas so you're getting less power and more engine deposits.

What do you guys do when you're running 91 octane but can't find it? I travel a lot for work and the place I'm at now is all 89 or 93. Is it bad to switch constantly from 93 to 91 of should I just stick with 93? Not to worried about price difference.
I like the black bumper and flares on a non-black vehicle. Everyone always paints to match but I'm digging the contrast and the black looks better than stock grey.
CTS did mine, Sterling Grey to match all the other emblems with a black oval.
And I was able to get mine removed without breaking it. Just got to pry it off carefully.
