It's time to move on folks. Not using the truck much anymore and I never got to take it off road, NEVER! Anyway, most of you have seen my truck on the forums. Basically a Hennessey Velociraptor but not built by Hennessy, and no Hennessey headrests. :(
Just turned 10000 miles
The Raptor is...
Basically I have a Hennessy 600 kit but I had it done by Borelli Motor Sports in San Jose. It ran around 13k installed with everything, Full exhaust, headers, cutouts, Supercharger, tune and so on. With shipping the same set up would have cost me over 20k at Hennessy. Granted, I don't have the...
Yup Ice, I'm gonna be passing the hat around to fund my next set of rear rubber. I'll dyno again next week but I'm hoping for 530rwhp. Considering that here in CA we get f**ked on 93 octane, I've been running a combo of 91 and 100 octane. On the first dyno I only had 91 so that alone should help.
Put the new tune from Procharger in. This one compensates for the SW headers. I think we finally got it right.

I'm back with video
Sorry I've been off the grid for a while. The tune on the Raptor has been a bitch to get right. Thanks to Nick at ProCharger, it's finally done.

You're too correct Ice. I may even paint my truck silver. I'm also looking around for one of those light bars. I like the big ADD bumper but I feel like it might be a little over the top for a truck that spends most of it's life on the highway.
The New Dyno Test Of The Raptor
OK. Here it is. 519rwhp/491tq This equates to anywhere between 601 and 670 at the crank, depending on what website I use. As Eddie Murphy said
"Only dudes with tiny wieners measure it. The rest of us just look at it and say "Damn, that shit is big".
Well...
First Test Drive With The Supercharger - VIDEO
FINALLY!!! The ProCharger in now fully installed as are the DMH exhaust cutouts. I loaded the tune from ProCharger but I don't think it accounts for the headers and exhaust because the idle is a little wavy and it has died a couple of times while...
Supercharger install Pics
So as I predicted, the install was going well until we discovered there was one missing part. Fedex is now on the way with the overnight box so we can finish.
As for the those pesky exhaust cutouts, we decided to use the down time to finish them up. Now before I start...
My wrap was done by Millers Vinyl Graphics at Club Auto Sport. I also have an office there. It's right near Trimble and Montague which is why you saw me there. Again there is a fun event there Sunday if anyone wants to come by. My supercharger should be done if anyone wants to check it out.
Hood and roof wrap
I was just going to do the hood but a friend suggested also doing the roof. I don't know why but I think the tailgate would be too much. I'm open to your opinions. I know I didn't want the factory graphics because I didn't care for the logos. I also found out why the factory...
Good to hear that Pirate. A lot of good and bad info out there. I figured that the supercharger in this package has been around for a while and the kit was adapted for the 6.2 engine. I'm hoping this makes for a easy install.
Supercharger is about to go in
Got the parts spread out and it looks like everything is there. Hopefully, we don't get mostly done and find out a screw is missing.
You can totally bring your Mustang. It's not a "car show" technically but more of a hang out. The get together is from 8:30 till 11 or 12 and the race will be showing inside. This is a new event so I can't make promises about the turn out of other cars. I have a private suite at Club Auto Sport...
Bojangles,
You can move the thread to where ever you think is best. I looked at starting the thread in the regional section but here in Northern California we suffer from an identity crisis. We aren't southern California, we aren't northwest US. We don't quite know where to fit in???Lol
Garage opener, Carbon Firber and HIDs
So this week has been busy. Installed Cribclicker garage opener and hooked it up to #4 aux switch (F Homelink). The transmitter is hooked up under the hood and the receiver is attached to the opener. Now my garage opens with 2 quick flips of my #4 aux...
