If you are talking about the plastic the put in the hex screw, I believe that's only there to prevent tampering. No need to reinstall.

Mine is stock and I have 3 inches between the factory bump and the pad.

Would it be cost effective to make a fiberglass mold from the stock flare and then use the copy to modify?

The Moab Brewery: Moab, Utah's only microbrewery and restaurant the blue pig sucks pig balls, i reccomend staying away.

I'll be camping at the kane springs campground. It's 20 bucks a night for those who don't mind sleeping in a tent.
