New rear shock with banding still attached. This shock is valved for a Super Crew. $300 + shipping

FOX Is there a significance to the banding color used to keep the rear shocks compressed when new? Is there a way to tell if they are for a scab or screw? Thanks.

Here it is. 2014 scab with a 2010 dash. LEDs in the grill and everything. I don't think the application of the graphics is Designs N Signs quality but I don't think its too bad for my first time.

I was under my truck today and I noticed that only a small part of the front shock's shaft is showing between the body and the bump stop. Is this normal? Do I need to have them rebuilt? New springs? I have them set-up on bottom perch.
