LEX @lexmotorsports goodguy just came out with something kinda like a bull bar. Maybe they could do a custom one that came up higher towards the grille?

Hey buddy, here is my setup. You can order the defiant offroad light bar from their website but I had some modifications done. It has flat plate with 3 holes punched for looks welded between the radius bar and top hoop, then, it has flat bar welded between the radius bar and top hoop to hold 2 30" light bars.

Also added some tubular gusseting between the uprights and the radius bar to add rigidity and welded the bottom cross bar rather than bolting it up.

Lastly, I added flat bar on the mounts that come out from the tow hooks to make those more rigid as well.

I can stand up and jump on this light bar and there is not even a wiggle.

Also, the reason I went with this light bar is it is more of a fitting design for the Raptor. It's more of a baja bar rather than a bull bar.

Keep in mind these are old pictures and once the light bar was finished, it was coated in Line-x platinum

It would mainly be for deer protection as there are deer accident weekly in my neighborhood.

Then just put it in your Cobra, as those things are ugly. And, if you do smoke a deer, with that thing, you'd be lucky to hit it square in the middle, shit is still going to get ****** up.
Jimbo brings up a great point. Most bull bars are strictly for aesthetics and don't have any real structural strength to them. I have seen several truck where a deer was hit and the bull bar was pushed in to the grille, valence and / or bumper.

X2 I wasnt going to add any unnecessary hating to what is already a fail of a thread but I have seen many vehicles require frame section replacements due to bull bars.

Just wanted to say thank you to all who are steering me in the right direction and to all the trolls. Please go back to your caves and never see the light of day again. Thanks.
