I'd go Lead Foot all day long, plus the beadlocks and no stickers would be my preference.
Buy it the truck you love. Blue looks great but I've seen a lot of them.
I've researched this extensively but haven't pulled the trigger. Best option I've found is an RPG Offroad kit. You can gain some serious payload increases but they're pricey, the stage 3 kit would probably be a good option.

I did. They started at $3k and i said no thanks, i don't need it. Eventually i said no long enough that they dropped the 6 year/100k warranty to $999 and I took it.
Act like you won't even consider it, they'll cave.
I'm posting this here as well as another site. I found 3 other cases on other forums where people had the exact same issue, the tranny sticking in 7th gear.
I'm on a a two lane road in 10th gear in sport mode, temporary passing zone comes up. I swing out at WOT and acclerate to about 80mph...
I have a 2017 delivered in January, currently about 9500 miles. Since the truck was delivered, I've had what I'll call "piston slap" at mid range RPMs in second and third gear.
I always use premium fuel, 92+ octane. More recently I've had many instances of engine ping at 4500-5200 RPMs...
I agree. But my wife didn't. Shoveling the snow off her GX while the Raptor, Range, 911, and 14' aluminum boat all got a garage spot. Ha! And I'm not getting rid of that cheap boat. It stays clean and offers lots of solace on summer mornings.
Congrats and good choice, you'll love it. I've had Mustangs for 20 years and finally traded in a 911 Porsche for the Raptor. Loved the 911 but haven't missed it. The Raptor is like a sports car on 35" tires. Family fun for camping, fishing, and every day driving!
^This. Was going to type the same advice but he beat me to it. RPG kit with the 4" bump stops, then proper WDH and 1200 lb bars adjusted properly. With this setup your Raptor will tow as good and as safely as the F-150 with max tow. Probably good for 2000-2500 lb payload. And the 4" stops...
43 miles on mine. 6 engine hours, 3 of them at idle.
And average fuel economy of 10.3 for those hours/miles. Either someone had a fun ride or they dyno'ed it several times.
I ordered a 2017 Screw two weeks ago (put down deposit) and order was confirmed two days ago when dealer received allocation of 5. I called about 6 dealers to inquire, most were looking for $3000 to $5000 above MSRP. I received mine at MSRP of $64k and change, every option except the moon...
