Transmission Issue - Raptor at Ford Dealer Service Department

That sounds a lot like my experience all the way down to the clutch material found details. Except the transmission tech at my dealership was even busier and there was a several week wait before he could even start repairing mine. I'm glad to hear that everything was fixed with yours and that...

Transmission Issue - Raptor at Ford Dealer Service Department

It's the grinding noises you hear while accelerating and shifting in different gears. In my case they confirmed grinding noises on 5-3 and 6-4 downshift - and also grinding noises on the 3-4, 4-5 upshift. Of course they initially tried quicker and easier fixes along the way until they...

Transmission Issue - Raptor at Ford Dealer Service Department

Sorry I haven't checked the forum in a while. Yes, the grinding noise went away. However, I've recently started hearing a slight and subtle whirling noise at acceleration. I'm planning to bring it to the dealer sometime soon for what I hope is something relatively minor.

Transmission Issue - Raptor at Ford Dealer Service Department

As luck would have it on the same day I posted I got a call today from the service advisor saying the truck was ready for pickup. I stopped by and spoke to the service manager before picking it up. He apologized for the delay and said the transmission tech had a bunch of vehicles in line before...

Transmission Issue - Raptor at Ford Dealer Service Department

I had been dealing with the service manager but he stopped responding. Apparently they are short staffed so he's often assisting on vehicles now. I spoke to the service advisor last Wednesday, 5/8 (my birthday) and he said Ford wants to make sure the work is necessary before they approve and...

Transmission Issue - Raptor at Ford Dealer Service Department

When I took it in there I told them I'm sure it was the squawk issue. I even sent them clips from my dash-cam that sounded identical to someone else that had that issue.

Transmission Issue - Raptor at Ford Dealer Service Department

I have a 2014 Ford Raptor Screw that has 73,000 miles on it. I had a grinding noise that started several months ago. I initially thought it was related to the IWE/Solenoid/Check valve. So on 03/11/2019 Battlefield Ford Service in Manassas, VA replaced the IWE and also checked the check valves...

Fuse tap style for passenger side fuse

This thread helped a lot. Thanks Roybot, your summary was very helpful for when I needed to hardwire my new Thinkware F770 2 channel dash cam. Prior to that I was researching dual camera dash cams and it came down to the Thinkware F770 vs. the BlackVue DR650S. Although both dash cams have a...

Going to look at a truck in PA

Cool, maybe someone in our area can organize a regional Raptor tag up meeting. I've noticed almost every Raptor owner I've encountered in this area will wave once they see you. At first I thought it was a fluke until it kept happening. The mutual recognition is cool and a constant reminder that...
