So I guess they are still getting the old 2022 orders in... My buddy, who ordered back in October 2021 like I did, same dealer, (I got mine in late April), finally got his "scheduled" email yesterday! Go figure. But thought it might help those still waiting. Getting a 22 may help the pricing...
Crazy. My buddy, who ordered the same time as I did, same dealer, last October, (I got mine in April), finally got his "scheduled" email yesterday! Go figure.
Yes, Ford covers it. Looks like the previous post is pretty much spot on! Some dealers try to monetize it for themselves... knowing they will pay the original MSRP. Those are the ones some guys here are unfortunately having to work with.
There are many threads on this topic... one recent one should help you out... https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/order-is-in-shipment-dealer-is-acting-funny.92134/
It really comes down to the dealer. They see the $$ and while some truly may not know, most are well aware of the process to price protect. I paid my original MSRP from October, minus the $1395 for BlueCruise. Approx. $74k. In today's environment, I am really happy and maybe for once, I got...
Was chatting with the GM who I bought mine from about something unrelated. My buddy who order the day after mine was the 5th of the 5 allocations. Two of the five remain unselected and the rep told him this week that they will only get one of the two now... and they still don't know which one...
Wow. Your dealer said that? No surprise. Now even the Lightnings are piling up without chips and those are supposed to getting prioritized for chips too!

I sat there the entire time Ford said it was shipped... close to a month. Even after it moved to "Delivered", it still showed ASN. Just for the fun of it I looked at it again.... I've had the truck for a month... it still shows ASN. lol Ford Performance is really your best option.
Mine didn't change one bit until it was delivered. Other's have answered the Convoy question... as I understood it, that's the final method of transit to the dealer. Obviously, we rode the rails to MA, then Convoy (truck) to the dealership. Mine was sitting in the Michigan railyard for a long...
Depends on how you define shipped, lol. Mine was like your image above and it actually was received by the dealer almost a month later. So, while shipped is a good thing because it's not on hold and "should" be on it's way to your dealer, how long it will take to get there is unknown. Yours will...
Just can't believe some of you guys, with very similar dates to mine, and you are still waiting in this dumpster fire! It's like if some chips came in while your truck went down the line, you got lucky. If not, you ended up in the parking lot. It's just insane. My buddy still doesn't even have a...
Yeah, me too... wasn't as bad as some of these photos, and, only on one of the four. Detailer said he sees this far more often on Chevy and Dodge trucks, not Ford! Definitely lack of QC on these. Probably just live with it for now.
