I also have the DSC and am very happy with it. I want less stuff like wires , boxes, connectors ect that could fail out in the middle of nowhere . I really like the G out feature on the DSC and use it often. I have 3.0's and they work well with the DSC played with the program a little but...
No not re-valved , in track mode (Baja) the OK button on the steering wheel works as a G out feature , It puts the suspension in full stiff to take the hit. I really think the OEM shocks work just as well as the Fox factory racing 3.0 shocks. The big advantage of the FFR 3.0 is the remote...
Finally got to spend some time in the dirt with the 3.0's back and with the DSC . I am still impressed with how the truck handles and sucks up bumps over the oem controller. I also went to 37" K02's very happy with my setup! I still want to play with the settings in the DSC software to fine tune...
If you have a live valve truck I would recommend the DSC with the OEM shocks to hold you over until you go LT. I was impressed with the performance and under $1500 cheap and maybe better than the 3.0 upgrade we will see as my 3.0's have been in the rebuild waiting hell for 2 months.
Just installed and zeroed out the ride height on Thursday. I was able to hit the Dez for a few hours on Friday. Superstition area, Sand dunes , fast hard pack , washes ect a little of everything. The drive out was nice I feel softer yet controlled . In the dirt I was able to drive much faster...
I went thru the shop that I bought them from so no direct contact with Fox. I do push it hard down in Baja where it let go both times. I think it is a faulty shock possibly as it is the same one that failed twice.
Well I got my shock covered under warranty and rebuilt by Fox so I put them back on. The same rear shock blew again ! I really don't want to wait for Fox again
Is there a good shock tuners in San Diego that knows Raptors ?
Was it both front and rear that had poor rebound control? Would SDI recommend an additional bypass shock to help with rebound? The stock rear fades quickly under hard use do to heat in my experience
I stopped in and talked with the owner of Excelsior Motorsports yesterday great guy! He had nothing but good things to say about DSC and he uses your module on his track cars. Sounds like program updates are pretty easy "like if you get ahold of some 3.0 shocks " then I could download the new...
