Do you have that test channel? When I got mine, I went somewhere pretty open and just spam clicked the "send test signal" button on their website. I think it took longer than my cobra to receive the signal.

An extra belt will do the trick too.

I've seen other people go with the Helmholtz Resonator fix, with great results. Another option is the Dynomax VT style muffler. I put these on my cobra, due to drone. It is completely gone and still sounds nasty when I get on it. Dynomax® Performance Exhaust | Mufflers | Dynomax VT™ Muffler
