I followed your post when you were thinking about getting out of the Z. If you use the Z as a daily driver, the Raptor is a better choice. My Z only gets about 1k miles a year, it's a garage queen for the most part. Mt raptor is my DD and I love it. Still love the Z too much to sell it though.
I looked for a '14 Scab and couldn't find what I was looking for. The few I found were already sold but still listed on the internet as for sale. I located a used '13 Scab with 801A at a Ford dealership about an hour away from me, figured it was worth looking at it, and ultimately bought it. It...
I loved the Raptor when I first saw pics of it in late '09. My Avalanche started to need items so I figured I should trade it while I could still get decent $$$ for it. Decided the Raptor SCab would be better for me because the SCrew wouldn't fit in my garage. Started looking and decided on...
Same exact issue with my garage door opener. Raise the height of the opener to allow the door to be fully pulled open and it will squeak under the standard garage door height.
I had one of these years ago in a 94 Z28. It was a great enclosure and sounded fantastic. Mine wasn't amplified, I was running a 5 channel PPI(US built)amp. I'm looking to upgrade my Raptor's system and will probably go with another Thunderform.
That's is a great setup. Now that I know it's possible, I have 2 older amps (USA built RF Punch 4ch and 2 ch)I'm still partial to and will use in the Raptor. I'll have to start looking into processors and speakers. Any problems with the head unit working with the pieces you've added?

The climate controlled seats are controlled by the head unit on the 12-14 models. If you have NAV, you have to keep the head unit to control the seats.
Is it possible to change out the stock speakers, subs and amp and continue to use the stock NAV head unit on a 2013? I realize I can't change out the head unit because of the climate controls but I'd like to upgrade the system to what it should be.
I noticed this odor in my 13 SCab tonight. First time I've smelled it. 9400 miles. Went away after about 30 seconds. I saw the thread on the other forum. Looks like its cause is unknown, so they won't recall what they can't find. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
I'd be pissed too! Blowing it up probably a blessing in disguise though. Hopefully they'll figure out the root cause of the problem after observing and replacing all the damaged parts. You purchased one of the most expensive Ford products made. They should be treating you like gold. You're not...
Looking for an Oasis report on my '13.
VIN # 1FTFX1R61DFA41470
I purchased it earlier this month and never got it from the dealer. Just want to compare it against the Carfax, which showed 2 dealer visits for routine maintenance.
