No real updates. I don't drive it much so only put a few miles on it. My honest guess is the valve body acting up. It would usually happen at very low speeds during a hard left or right turn when you basically come to a stop. It always feels like the trans wants to crawl but also wanta to be in...
Haven't taken it into the shop just yet. Got off the phone with Ford's Complaint center and they talked about buyback immediately when I told him it was the fourth time for the same issue. Then I told him I am at 61k miles and he said "oh, nothing we can do..." apparently they have a hard line...
I will keep this short; looking for thoughts on how Ford should handle this. I posted a few times in this thread regarding the issue: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f39/p0770-transmission-shift-solenoid-wrench-cel-tsb-recall-49350/#post1157210
57XXX miles and I started throwing a P0770 and...
first time around they replaced the shift solenoid, lead frame. Second time they replaced the solenoid. Both times they did a full trans flush.
This time around... not sure yet :)
I thought I might jump back in here and bring this one back to life. I am yet again throwing the same P0770 and P0773 codes. I had the truck fixed in October 2016 under power train warranty and all was good till May of 2017. Took it back in for the same code and they fixed it. all was good for...
having my stock shocks rebuilt by a local guy who specializes in atvs and snowmobiles and has only done one pair of Raptor shocks in the past. he prefers to use Amsoil 10w oil in his smaller rebuilds.
Everywhere I have searched I cannot find where anyone has used anything other than stock...
so, if there is a recall for this, will Ford fix it under that recall if you are out of warranty? I am throwing a P0770 and P0773 right now with the same type of issues.
noticed you are in Ashburn, VA and saw your post about getting on a waiting list for a 2017. is that even possible this early in the game??? I am near by and was rather interested in this statement...
I have a strong feeling that Ford is simply testing the waters. the Ecoboost V6 has been a guess for a long time, and it helps their economic standings as a manufacturer for EPA regulations... yadda yadda yadda
My thought is that the EB V6 will be a standard option, and they will still have a...
I have been searching high and low for this answer as well. I would like to purchase two used front shocks rather then sending mine out to be rebuilt and trying to figure out if there is a difference...
Awesome job on this. I had almost the exact same idea but i was going to use flood lights just to have the extra light when working late or packing the truck at night.
clean install!
a year old but answered my question to the "T"
my ambient temp says mid 60s when it is in the 30s and my heater and heated seats do not start up with everything set to auto for remote start.
Looks like I will be making a trip to the dealer.
thanks for the inputs. I honestly have never even used it. I just thought it looked much nicer then what is currently in there. I liked the hvac controls for the MFT better, at least from pictures.
guess I just need to find one and play around with it.
thanks again.
