UPDATE 2/3/2023: Today I put on a matte finished, antiglare and finger print resistant screen protector. I ordered it from Amazon in the Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra size which is 10.6 inches diagonal and I trimmed it down to about 12" x 7.5". Just enough on side not to cover the reset button...

Yes I could have renewed my data plan and just used the wifi off the Ford AT&T hotspot. I did that with my android unit before.

I did not retain my original LTE hotspot, but it would be advantageous to keep it, in that when doing wireless Android Auto and Carplay you cannot run your phone hotspot while app is running on the same phone. The unit does have 4g LTE capability, but it is GSM only and therefore will not work...

If you do a Factory Reset, you will likely have to recalibrate your screen. I was able to fix screen issues by using the recalibration method of putting 5 fingers on the screen for a few seconds, followed by pressing a red square. Manual explains everything...
