How many guys buy Raptors that never make it off road? Regularly off road, like what it was built for? 60% easily are only street driven. The vast majority that buy it do so because they love the truck as a whole. I don't take mine off road, I've had plenty of fast cars that I didn't drag race...
Used to love Rock Auto. Until I bought new front shocks and one shows up in a trashed box and scratched. They offered " send it back for refund" , just wouldn't replace. Well that's nice as my truck was sitting in the air waiting for shocks. So I kept a scratched $500 shock
Emailed VMP and Roush, waiting on response. Talk to owner of a Mustang performance shop by me. Said he doesn't worry until 80k miles. Otherwise he says with the catch can I should be pretty clean. I still might take the time to do it. I'll keep yas posted
I sure can. I'm thinking next weekend. Take it apart and see how it is. From what I'm hearing from the mustang guys some are spotless some are a total mess
Any you guys that are running a whipple or Roush ever clean you intercooler? How often should they be cleaned out? I'm sure they start to get nasty pretty quick and how much performance is hurt by a glogged up nasty cooler. I did the JLT oil separator at 13k miles so hoping mines pretty clean...
So is anyone having any issues or still loving it? I put one on my Roush Raptor and immediately fell in love. I've notice after about 2 weeks with it installed the truck seems a bit slower and I'm also having a poor sputtering start ups 8 out of 10 times, almost like the fuel pump is going out...
After the tune, but it wouldn't matter if you put it on first then the tune. The throttle response is just crazy. Takes a few days to find the perfect daily driving setting, but then it's perfect
