How many guys buy Raptors that never make it off road? Regularly off road, like what it was built for? 60% easily are only street driven. The vast majority that buy it do so because they love the truck as a whole. I don't take mine off road, I've had plenty of fast cars that I didn't drag race...
Used to love Rock Auto. Until I bought new front shocks and one shows up in a trashed box and scratched. They offered " send it back for refund" , just wouldn't replace. Well that's nice as my truck was sitting in the air waiting for shocks. So I kept a scratched $500 shock
Emailed VMP and Roush, waiting on response. Talk to owner of a Mustang performance shop by me. Said he doesn't worry until 80k miles. Otherwise he says with the catch can I should be pretty clean. I still might take the time to do it. I'll keep yas posted
I sure can. I'm thinking next weekend. Take it apart and see how it is. From what I'm hearing from the mustang guys some are spotless some are a total mess
Any you guys that are running a whipple or Roush ever clean you intercooler? How often should they be cleaned out? I'm sure they start to get nasty pretty quick and how much performance is hurt by a glogged up nasty cooler. I did the JLT oil separator at 13k miles so hoping mines pretty clean...
So is anyone having any issues or still loving it? I put one on my Roush Raptor and immediately fell in love. I've notice after about 2 weeks with it installed the truck seems a bit slower and I'm also having a poor sputtering start ups 8 out of 10 times, almost like the fuel pump is going out...
After the tune, but it wouldn't matter if you put it on first then the tune. The throttle response is just crazy. Takes a few days to find the perfect daily driving setting, but then it's perfect
I have a front bumper with 20" led bar in lower valance. Took off at 30k miles. A few chips but not bad. If your still looking let me know. I also have the skid plates as well
I just put those same wheels on my truck. I put new BFG KO2 and mid perch. Full turn and go over a bump and it'll hit. I was told same thing about getting an alignment. Going Friday so hopefully that's the ticket
Well guess that worked. They really are not that noticeable. They are just a simple long bar kit. I've run many similar kits on my diesel trucks. They serve their purpose well, I don't think I noticed any ride quality change. I also have the Hellwig rear sway bar. That I don't think did anything...
I've been running the Stiffler bars on my Roush Raptor. I absolutely love them. I do very minimal off road, but when I have taken it out on the trails I just drove it and didn't worry about them. I have had no complaints at all and no wheel hop ever
Anyone running the SW lightning exhaust and traction bars? I have the Stiffler long bars on my truck and im interested in the lightning exhaust and not sure on clearance issues. Looking at pictures on line it appears it should fit , super close, but should. Id prefer to be certain before the...
I cant comment on SVC or 5*, but I have a Roush Raptor and I have had the Vmp tune and the JDM tune. I will say hands down JDM has their tuning dialed in to the T. I think most big name tuners are all pretty close, at least from my cars in the past. Its the little tweaks one guy has over the...
I just installed the kicker upgrade. It replaces the 4 door speakers and the sub box under the back seat. After looking into replacing everything or messing with door speakers this was a smoking deal and sounds amazing. For the $500 upgrade it was a no brainer for me.
Its a 2014 Roush. Im running the JDM 650hp upgrade which is the 65mm throttle body, colder plugs and his tuning. I also have the AFCO cooler with electric fans. I just ordered the billet gears and ATI balancer. Im looking to push boost up to 10-12lbs. If thats still a safe limit. If what it...
