Yeah after connecting with Cobb, I got the same feedback. Apparently using the tire diameter posted online for a non-inflated tire is not the correct method and they are looking for the diameter of the mounted tire under load. Which even for a 37" KO2 is just under 35" I guess.
Filed mine last week as well... Mine happened twice at startup while sitting in my office parking lot. Fortunate from a safety standpoint but slightly embarrassing to say the least. The noise scared the crap out of people walking by and explaining why I had to pop the hood and disconnect the...
Yeah. I think a lot of people were surprised to discover that once trucks started getting delivered. But the many threads on here confirming this gave me the confidence to pull the trigger. The Method wheel with 37" K02 also fit in the factory location. I did this as a backup on longer road trip...
Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback! And yes, as Justin said it is very close to stock which is what I was going for. I have tested them out in the dirt and under full compression my fenders remained in tact. So, mission accomplished.
I ordered a 5th wheel from Justin and had a 37 KO2...
Yes, suspension is stock. I can't remember if I had the extra spare in for the first picture, but I highly doubt it since it was at my office.
Appreciate the kind words!
Like others have mentioned, you can run some 37s on a base raptor with no modification. I have been running the same K02s that come on the 37PP with no issues. Even tested them out with a little air time and my fenders survived... I did purchase the bump stops @SMIKE linked as a precaution though.
Yeah I have checked in with a guy at Sanderson every 2-3 months for the past year and a half but gave up hope on the dream of MSRP. I figured enjoying the truck now versus a year+ from now and getting more for my trade was worth the ADM...to me anyway.
Update... ditched the black on black look for some Titanium Method 705's and 37x12.5 K02's...also swapped out the lights from my Gen 2... also tested out the suspension a bit :)
Peoria Ford which I wasn't expecting honestly. New truck had an $80k sticker and I paid $88k. They gave me $66k for my 2019 which I bought for $68k last year. Not a phenomenal deal by any means but better than any other AZ dealer I could find and they are only 2 miles from my house...
Received my new set of Method 705's +25 in Titanium from Justin @Pacific Wheel and had some 37x12.5 K02's mounted. I prefer the subtle contrast of the Titanium against the black versus black on black. The 37's definitely fill out the wheel well better too. No issues so far on my stock 35 truck.
Yes that is correct.
Want to run external lights? Then just connect them to the powered "set A" under the hood and you are good.
Want to run a radio/device inside the cab? Then connect the same color wire A and B under the hood and that corresponding wire in the footwell will now be powered...
I think IPT refers to the smaller side LEDs on the LP4. BD makes a set of blinders that stick on with double sided tape or SDHQ makes a set that bolts on using the existing hardware. I got a set from SDHQ as they are local and I liked the idea of not relying on double sided tape, especially in...
