I started the process for a safety recall in Canada, even though I won in arbitration. My safety file seems to have dropped into an abyss. I have have heard nothing since raising the issue and sending in photos almost one year ago.

I think the fuse blowing is a different issue. The TSB and my claim was the fuse holder melting from the current draw. Not the fuse. If my fuse blows now I am really screwed. I don't know where the tech relocated it to! I'd have to search to find it first. A good Spring project.

It did. Mine quit on a busy highway while doing 70mph. My dash screen said "shift into park". I figured that would not be wise at highway speed. Good thing I was not turning in front of a semi, or my wife was not on the freeway in Detroit.

I am still working with Transport Canada to get them to do a recall. Then they will have to pay for all the repairs previously done as well as all future ones. I understand there are 10's of thousands of trucks affected.

Just to let you know, Ford denied my warranty claim. I was over by 3 months and about 1,000 miles. So, I started an action against them for a defective product. They decided to fight me over the $400.00 repair. I agreed to binding arbitration and Ford sent an attorney and we met with the...

I've opened a file with Transport Canada and with CAM VAP. I need to show that it has effected many vehicles.
