Thanks for the feedback. I bought the 4" Andersen hitch. Hope it works for everything I need. I realized also that if my truck increased height too much, I can always buy the 8" drop hitch part directly from Andersen for around $150.

I am buying a Big Tex 70PI-X trailer, either in 16' or 18' lengths with slide in ramps for a trip from Texas to Colorado. Going to be hauling between 3k-5k # in cargo plus ~2k # trailer weight. The ground to coupler distance on the trailer is 17.5". The height from ground to top of my hitch...
