They're OEM bone stock from a 2023 37 package truck. They are identical to an R wheel in color and sheen, I compared them to my R wheels when I bought them.
In case anyone cares, Chino Hills Ford in Chino, CA has a preowned Avalanche R. I tried to work them on it about 2 months ago and couldn’t get them out of the $140,000’s. Today I got a voicemail and text from them asking if I was still interested so I’m thinking they are ready to work on it.
Crazy build for so close to the run! Heck, I'm worried about having my chase rack in time from RPG and that's easy!
Gonna be sick when it's done, I'm looking forward to seeing it there!
3 wheels for sale. Like new. I bought 4 but only need 1 for a spare. Located in Hollywood, CA for local pickup only, no shipping.
$650 each or all 3 for $1800.
Nope. While I can say I noticed it, I can’t say I care all that much. It does start, so I guess I figure whatever. I mean it’s definitely a high performance engine and they tend to be a little finicky in my experience. So I just haven’t worried about it.
Yep, I have a similar experience. I have about 1500 miles, but it's done it since new. It seems like usually when the motor is warm, sitting maybe 30-60 minutes, not hot or cold.
Alright, well, I found a set of wheels and now own 3 extra as-new takeoffs for a 37 Package or R. If anyone needs a spare, hit me up. Yes I know this isn't the right section to post them for sale, I'm just updating this thread and will post the 3 wheels on a new one too.
I need an additional spare for an R, so an R or 37 package wheel. I'd like a wheel/tire/TPMS, but would settle for a wheel and buy the rest. I'm in L.A. and can come pick up in L.A. or OC.
Paint the flare, it's easy. https://touchupdirect.com/touch-up-paint/ford/f-150/#pf-year=2021&pf-color=215123
The truck in the video is the one in my avatar. We have the Gen 3 color too and the process is the same.
Thanks, and yeah, something to try. And you can bet you don’t want to drag race any Rivian with any Raptor, it won’t be pretty. But, that said, I like to get off the grid a bit further than an EV will allow and I hadn’t had a Gen 3 Raptor yet, so here I am. The Rivian is an adventure vehicle...
Bought an R last Thursday. I likely got one of the better deals in SoCal, but it still wasn't pretty. I traded a Rivian R1T and they did me pretty solid on that. I'm happy to be back in a Raptor, this is my 3rd one, one of each gen. I guess it's time to update my avatar.
I'm in that wishful thinking crowd. I passed on a 1200 mile black R with no roof or tailgate step last Friday for $138k. Maybe I should have snagged it, it's sold.
