We did notice that even without it locked, that it did lay 2 strips in the dirt. So maybe the rear end is just so well balanced and outputting to the wheels similarly, so it won't matter as much at high speeds? On my Gen1 without the rear locker engaged, it would mostly just spin one tire...

Yes, but it seems you can't run 2-wheel drive with the rear diff locked in Baja mode... which is SUPER lame, and a huge let-down. In the Gen-1, off-road mode in 2WD with the diff locked is the ONLY setting most of us ran in!!! Unless we're missing something here...

I've had mine sealed about 6 times under warranty... even upgraded to a '13 rear cover from my '11, which is thicker. Still leaks. Haha. Frustrating.

From our experience in the past, people have issues arise that usually cause at least a few to have to cancel. We hope this isn't the case, but for you this may just work out well still!
