Mid 2018 new metal oil pan

Can you post your 2 VINs I still don't know why my 2017 pickup tube hit the 2018 metal pan, but yours did not

Poor brakes compared to standard F-150

Just an FYI - there are no (in widestream or even average consumer use) drilled rotors made via mold - all are drilled after the fact. If anyone tells you it is molded, ask for photos and videos of the rotors being manufactured. You’ll get crickets.

Mid 2018 new metal oil pan

Can you clarify? Did you do it to a 2017 or 2018 before the metal pan switchover? I'm the OP; I bought the metal pan for my 2017, and my shop showed me where the oil pickup tube was hitting the metal pan (left an imprint) How did you manage this issue? We also looked up part numbers...

    Trials near Charlotte NC

Anyone know of sanctioned meets / trails where I can rip it up around Charlotte NC? I'll likely pack the backseat with kids so would prefer fast, open trials vs slow, rock crawling.

    Alcon Brake Kit

I got so caught up in wheel sizes that you're right, the obvious is you have room in the front Give Mark or Rick over at Baer at call - I'm sure they will sell you another front setup to put on the rear I'm not bothered by the caliper size difference but the rotor differences and how the front...

    Alcon Brake Kit

I think you're limited on Baer, because you're keeping 17" wheels ... most 2pc require at least 19" wheels I had the Baer Extreme+ setup, two piece rotors with aluminum hats but I'm a self-loating street donkey putting 20-22" wheels on a Raptor

    Alcon Brake Kit

If Alcon is $7k, find another $1-2K and spring for one of the big boys ---------- Post added at 11:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:55 PM ---------- Took another look at the Alcon - they have found a good niche for their product Baer, Brembo etc will require 19" most likely 20" wheels...

    Alcon Brake Kit

I was picking on your modern sports car hyperbole McLaren 720S takes 108 feet from 60mph and 178 feet from 80mph OEM F150s take 119-129 feet from 60mph The "test" video shows his Alcon stopping in 125 feet but not from 60mph but instead 75mph Does anyone think that's realistic? He's...

GEN 2 3M paint protection wrap?

3M is easier to work with and cheaper, so if he quoted you the same $ for either film, that's why he may have pushed 3M

    Alcon Brake Kit

Iron is cheaper, as aluminum can be just as strong while also being lighter. Baer, Brembo use aluminum calipers. Unsure about Wilwood and RacingBrake.
