I work for an engineering company that is on the Ford 'X' plan. They will not discount you the Raptor nor the Boss 302's. I've already tried. However they can utilize the Ford 'x' plan towards the F-150 Platinums.
I bought the Raptor at Invoice. I figured I'd get it now before they...
That is true! Will I have to change the reservoir or can I just bleed the fluid and refill with DOT-5 and DOT approved brake lines?
I'l plan on just doing that instead.
I wouldn't say I've had O-shit moments, but it's definitely more spongy than my High Performance sports car. That thing stopped on a dime and was similar to the porsche GT3.
This one looks pretty damn cool. I just cant see myself with a one piece since I have to stick streetbikes and dirtbikes in the back. Some still conflict with the front tire of my motorcycle tires when they're in the bed of the struck.
This bums me out...I'll try stainless steel braided brake lines...with the DOT3 fluid, my brakes are mushy. Sometimes I feel like I won't stop in time. Living in the city there are too many red lights....do you guys experience the same with this heavy ass truck or am I just braking late?
Does anyone know if Brembos make the rear kit for the raptor yet?
Brembo GT Ford F-150 SVT Raptor 6-Piston Brake Kit
Would you guys rather go with Brembo or Stoptech SSBL?
