Got my VIN and delivery date today!

I called Ford Performance for the first time on Monday. I wanted to see if they had any additional info other than what I have here at the dealership. My truck shows awaiting transport under primary status and secondary status shows delay shipping. My Ford rep said my truck is being help for retrofit. The girl at Ford Performance told me that the truck is awaiting transportation. I told her I worked for a dealership and asked her if they also used the vehicle visibility source for their info. She told me they do. So she told me it was awaiting transportation but not that it was delayed.

Did that mean it was held at the retrofitters or waiting to go to the retrofitters?

My rep told me it's held for retrofit. That's all she was told. Honestly the reps really don't have much more info available than what we have at the dealership level.

When asked if the material hold on beadlock wheels will change my 1/2/17 build date, I got this:


I do not have info on this delay, however your build date was changed to February 6th so that could be a possibility. You do also have an ETA of delivery of March 1st.

how are you talking to a rep. I would love to talk to the rep for my area. my dealer is clueless.
