who has updated to SYNC3 VERSION 3.0 ?

So I updated to 3.0 couple weeks ago with no problems, today I got a message on the screen that I had a update, downloading JR3T-14G391-CD_103672.tar.gz
Has anyone else seen this?

Mine is doing the same thing. Been stuck with no progress for three days now.

Have you tried putting it on a zip drive and doing it directly? The downloads seem to take forever.

I did. In fact that exact file is part of the original USB install disk downloaded from Ford. I even tried editing the autoinstall script to only install that one file, but no luck. I just got through letting my truck run for almost an hour, but still no further progress on the download bar. I have a strong signal with 120Mb download speeds. Weird.

That is weird. Mine started prompting me to search for updates 2 days ago, so I turned off autoupdate yesterday.

How do you know if it is working? I did the usb drive and it scrolls something on top of the screen for a second and then nothing. I drove around for a while and finally gave up .... no indication anything was updating.
