When does MGD get banned?

I'll get ver3 when the truck updates it, my luck with IT means I would download the file, plug it in and the PCM would somehow get flashed with it. LOL

As someone noted in another thread, Ford need to revamp their crappy "Phone" menu where there's no favorites exist. They also need to do the same with "Music/Radio" like most of other cars do where a Favorites lineup can have items/stations from all sources.

I don't get it while i get it's still a *Ford*...why can't their console engineers drive a Ford with Sync3. Looks like they all drive beemers where everything is sorted out the right way.

So 3.x or 2.3 - same crap.

My 2017 just updated via system update to 3.0. I was on 2.0 before I started the update.

Still waiting for someone with a 2018 to report in that theirs updated via WIFI.

Used the link I posted above, and found much of what others posted:

1) Once plugging the USB stick in, it took ~5 minutes to recognize and initiate the update.
2) Overall update took ~20minutes
3) Nav was stuck in "Loading map" status after the first couple reboots
4) I do now get the avail wifi notices daily, despite turning off in settings.
5) Previous FORSCAN settings remained (atleast some that i noticed)

I made all the WiFi messages go away.

I turned it all on. Went and connected to WiFi. Then ran a standard update via sync. If connected. Found no update... and has not asked me since. Been weeks.
