Want new light bulbs

Does anyone know what the kelvin rating is on the philips xtreme?

it what you want it to be. the k rating is for the temp of the bulb. 4000k is yellow 6000k is white, 8000k is light blue 10,000 is blue 12-14,000k is purple. im sure there are various ratings for the bulb.

I'd say 5000 k is white, 6000k has a tiny bit of a blue tint to it. If you want pure white, go with 5000k

Sliver star ultras are 4100k and compared to stock, they are so much whiter.

I just installed the Sylvania SilverStar Ultra. I have not had a chance to drive on a dark road but driving around town I can tell that they are brighter than stock. Just remember when changing then to push down on the clip then press the clip in. Yeah I was not thinking and broke the clip on the first one I took out.

and the PO of my truck broke one of em. have to tape it so it doesnt unplug itself now lol

factory hid's are 4300k.... 5k is where its at

I upgraded to sylvania lights. They didnt help. I wet with DDM hids in the stock housings. Started with 35w lights, now run 55w. The light output is flat out amazing and I don't blind people. Highly recommended if you can't afford the retrofits. If you can I would get those.
