Roof indents ?

In a rollover, would outdents provide as much structural rigidity and strength? In a typical rollover, the side of the cab strikes the ground and bashes in first - forcing the roof up and outward. It would seem (in this scenario at least) that the indents would result in greater structural integrity.

just looked, indents and the drain channels are more towards the doors, not the moon roof... alcohol clouded memory was in full effect.

Doubtful. In either case they are just there to create rigidity in the sheet metal not so much rollover strength. The roof rails and pillars hold the weight, not the roof its self.
