Raptor ride in Eglin, FL anyone?

Im vacationing in Destin FL.....
As I was searching for a place to wheel, I found this place up the road if anyone is around wanna join? I know it's last minute but figured I would try it! Here's a YouTube clip

Just picked up my map, watched the Unexploded Ordinance video, and paid my fees! About to go wheelin on Eglin Reservation in Niceville, FLORIDA! Anyone around the area, call me! 337-349-2174 lots of area to ride

I have been all over that area, was Air Force at Eglin for 10 years. We used to abuse our government trucks out there. especially after the hurricanes and tropical systems. they make the red clay and sand a lot of fun. Have a good time and take your GPS with you. There are thousands of acres there and easy to get turned around. Watch for testing on the ranges also. they will shut the raods down before you even know it. Have fun.

Yea, military. I was hauling ass! I hit 60-70 but i coulda hit 100 no problems! Speed limit says 35 though, lol. Cost me $6 for a 10 day pass. Had to watch A video incase I run up on mines, bombs, ect....

But last night, found out while I was visiting a buddy down here......there's an area in destin they allow 4-wheelin but it's in a destin neighborhood. Only can go during day so I'm about to go check that out here in a bit.

I've been all over that area...but mostly on foot.

You should check this place out in the raptor or even a jeep! Some trails are tight but you can stay wide open on the WIDE range roads. Bring a machete to nock the small branches quick. I used my hand and bent the branches out the way, no biggy.

Need to check this out. My Bro and his wife live in Niceville and his wife is in the Air Force at Eglin. Looks fun. Cant believe he hasn't done this. He has a '99 F-150 lifted with a winch and all kinds of upgrades.
