The gears would still be shown, wouldn't they?

They would display 1-10 in the Yellow box I outlined in the pic. Since it is in park the numbers aren't lit up.

Got it. Thanks. As a side note, it is pretty cool that there is the boost gauge over on the top right.

That gauge is programmable on any turbo F-150 with the same instrument cluster.

That's why I said drive, not manual mode. Hit minus once and it comes up. Hit it again and it'll start locking gears out. Doesn't need to be manual.

I think 2015 and newer it shows even without doing that based on the video. Also if you press + or - you are in manual mode. My wifes Edge Sport does the same thing. If you select M then you are forced to manually shift, but if you are in D and use the paddles to shift up or down, you go into manual mode.
