Here's my add stealth fighter. I like it because it still has the off road type look but very beefy and strong enough to take on deer and hogs being I live in texas and hunt all the time I'm on county roads a lot.

That looks great! Any idea how much further the bumper sticks out past the stock one? I've only got about 8 inches to spare in my garage :blah:

I love the looks of the RPG and WSI bumpers but I am very hesitant to cut the bumper horns for some reason.

I have the WSI prerunner bumper and this thing is solid! It makes the stock bumper/skid look like its made of Tupperware. I would assume that the only thing that would be damaged if I hit a deer with my truck would be the Deer.

Unless you are getting a bumper that goes over the grill I would venture to say its no more solid or better protecting than any of the prerunner types. WSI & RPG

If you are worried about deer it might be smarter for your truck to go with a bumper that has some height to it like mine. That was 90% of the reason I went with this style rather than a lower profile. For me deer was a major concern because most of their body is taller than the lower profile bumpers... unless you hit Bambi. :wwwd:

One more other thing for strength try to get a bumper that ties back into the side. There is to much leverage on the end to really help stop something. Better than stock for sure but need some help on the end. I went a step farther and tied it back to the side of the frame instead of to the bumper frame horns. It helped keep a SUV off me in a double right turn lane.

They have one that bolts on as well. Birdman has one on his truck.

Then it wouldn't be the same one I'm thinking of, or be the best looking one... Part of the look is the single sloped angle from the lower control arms to the front of the bumper. Similar to outlaws new bumper, which is a custom install piece, but same idea.

I back this up, it is very sturdy and hit a ditch going about 25 the other day and didnt even leave a mark.
