Couple months back I bought a set of severe duty front pads from ford. From experience our pads have the special ears on the inside pad for piston contact. My question is, when and did they actually switch pad design? The guy helping me wasn’t an idiot and we searched by vin. The part description sure as shit says that it replaces brsd1414. But there’s no ears on the new ones and while I’m no engineer I don’t see how they would work with out them. Appreciate any insight.
