Howdy!

I am new to this forum - I'm from Austin,TX. I'm a "car guy". I drive a Tesla Model 3 Performance and have a another SUV for the family. I am interested in a pickup truck - specifically the F150 Raptor. I also am curious about the Tremor and the RAM Limited Elite (yes, not in the league of the raptor, I know).

Would love to hear your thoughts: Raptor vs Tremor and other options
Is the Raptor a practical Daily Driver ?
How much bigger is it compared to a regular F-150?
Raptor reliability ?
Raptor - how comfortable / practical is it as a family car ?

Thanks a lot

The Raptor is pretty much the ultimate family hauler.

Austin to El Paso on one tank of gas. The Jen Too and later (2017+) get out of their own way quite well, and are insanely capable off road. The truck is I think 8” wider? than a regular F150.

Can you DD a Raptor? sure. And you will likely want to, as opposed to some peasant car.

Would love to hear your thoughts: Raptor vs Tremor and other options - Raptor. Tremor is for posers.
Is the Raptor a practical Daily Driver ? Been DD a Raptor for 6 years--can't imagine anything better.
How much bigger is it compared to a regular F-150? If you can drive one you can drive the other. No biggie.
Raptor reliability ? Hit and miss like any car...but I've not had issues.
Raptor - how comfortable / practical is it as a family car ? Load them up and have fun. Believe me kids won't want to be in that Tesla after a Raptor ride.
Dump the Tesla. See rest of answers above.

I was shopping the Limited and Platinum as well. What it came down to was the right deal making it a "might as well have the beefier frame and suspension too" for roughly the same price. Never looked back and enjoyed the drive from here to Santa Fe and back WITH a Mastiff riding shotgun right behind me and the wife the whole way. Parking? That's what the 360 cameras are for. No worries and you get used to the girth pretty quickly (what she said?). Used trucks most my life here and there. This is the first one in my garage though. Probably one of if not my favorite daily driver.
