I am helping with the Mystical Build project and we need to try and get some parts that will go in a 67 Mustang fastback. The car is going to be old style with new technology. If anyone is interested in donating parts, please let me know. We do have some major sponsors on this project like Dynacorn who donated the body, QA-1 for front suspension, Currie for the rear end, Heidt/Kenny Brown for rear suspension, PPG for the paint and sealers, TMI Products for the seat cushions and skins once we get them, Optima for the battery, Custom Auto Sound for the stereo, Mustang Project for the sequential tail lights, Ford Racing for the Boss 302 crate engine, Tremic for the 5 or 6 speed manual transmission, Hush-Mat and list of other private donors.

Mary Jean Wesche, the editor of Mustang Times (a monthly magazine for the Mustang Club of America), has two daughters that were diagnosed with breast cancer and are now in remission. Her brother died from cancer and her husband is being treated for cancer. She wanted to do something in her life to try and help to fight cancer. She has teamed up with the American Cancer Society and all proceeds from this car will go directly to them. This is a dream that she has had for the past several years and is now coming together.

There are still some parts that need to be aquired to complete the build even though there are some great sponsors listed above. Some of those parts include front seat frames from a 94-04 Mustang, rear 67 back seat, front fenders, 17" American Racing Torc Thrust-D wheels, side windows to include mounting hardware and a few other small items. We are working on a complete list of parts that are still needed.

The car made its first appearance at SEMA in the Dynacorn booth and it looked great. A lot of people donated money and some parts were promised from other vendors. If you have any parts that are usable and would like to donate them or you are a vendor who would like to help, please let me know. The Mystical Build is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization which means that your donations are tax deductable. More information about the Mystical Build can be found at MysticalBuild.org.
