My knowledge is limited to Gen 2. However,
Anyone ever see this guys videos? Here is one on him saying dont upgrade to Eibachs or Geisers.....thoughts???

What he says is no joke. I think your best bet is mid perch on factory. We had an 2018 Gen 2 failure this year out west (not my truck, was riding with a buddy) on Adjustable RPG perch collars only, albeit it was adjusted quite high and the truck had 65k hard miles on it (lots of jumps and hard landings), , over 50 percent off road and many trips to So Cal and Nevada.

We got lucky, we were close to RPG, they had a set of Fox Bypass in stock to swap to and the shock was still bouncing around inside the hat. Steering was pretty loose lol.

My goal is to avoid failures as much as possible. I dont know much about gen 1, but Id go with whatever he says.

I plan to stay with stock wheels and 35’s. Don’t plan to jump the truck. Just want more front end ground clearance for better approach angles, and honestly don’t like the factory rake. I don’t tow with it, and the entire idea behind the truck is for it to be a camping rig with that cap. Just want to know the best way to level it out lol.
Honestly I like how your truck sits right now :)

Adjust it to Mid perch and be done with it. Ive had mine set on Mid since I bought the truck in 2012 with no negative results. I never even had it re-alligned and its fine.
Same. I went mid perch on my 2013 with 300 miles on it. You will be happy with this setup for your needs. Don't need any extra parts and every aspect of the driving experience is improved.

Went from mid perch and blown shocks to Eibachs and brand new shocks all around. This is with brand new General Grabber X3’s (35x12.50x17) Stock rear leafs with 110K on them. 43” front FTG and 43.3” rear FTG after about 600 miles.

Rides great even on E rated rubber
