Interested to here your opinion of the old 5.4 vs. your new 6.2

Ya... I will really need to get it broke in since as of now this 6.2 isnt as nice as the 5.4. My old truck ran very good! With my own custom intake system, full SW exhaust and the tuner it ran very well like Ironman's... What I notice is the part throttle response on the 6.2 is better. It took more throttle to get the 5.4 moving. When turning onto the highway and getting up to speed the 6.2 is more responsive... It will get better when I get 5 or 6k on it!!!

Nice! I have had my black raptor about 5 days now and loving it!!! Looked at the ingot silver and it is a great looking-truck but I had to go with the black like my avalanche that I drove for 11 years and chose to keep. Waiting to get a bed cover and spray in liner.... Any thoughts foreign anyone rhino lining vs line-x? Cover thoughts? Looking at flip bak or roll bak. Work for local LE and need bed security.

I went with rhino as I had more experience with them but consensus on this site is that line-x is the best. I also went with a flip bak model on my cover as the roll back was just too noisy and cheap feeling. It comes down to personal preference but again a lot of people on the site seem to favor the flip bak models. Good luck!
